Dungarees and denim

ASOS dungarees | H&M striped polo neck | New Balance trainers

Ohmygaad. I can't believe I haven't blogged all month, my 2016 has had a crazy busy start both at work and at home. I've been learning to ski every weekend in preparation for my holiday to France next month, I'm slowly getting there! I swear I'm going to have the biggest macho calf muscles you've ever seen, it's such a workout. Anyway, I've been on the hunt for some dungarees for ages but the baggy 90's versions look ridiculous on me. I finally found a skinny-fit pair thanks to ASOS. I definitely look like a giant, lanky child but they're comfy so I'm okay with that.

I've paired them with my trusty New Balances (which reminds me, I really need to buy another pair as they are my favourite shoes EVER) as well as a polo neck, another obsession of mine at the moment. I'm also addicted to anything wth stripes, to the point where my boyfriend has pretty much banned me from buying any more in fear my wardrobe will end up looking like something out of Beetlejuice.

Hope everyone is having a good start to 2016!

My 2015

Jumping on the bandwagon here as I've loved reading everyone's 2015 posts, I've picked out my favourite moments of the year. I feel incredibly lucky as 2015 was kind to me and I can look back with fond memories. My year mainly consisted of travel (as I am now over my fear of flying! Woo), plenty of exploring, good food, a new job and some lovely times with my family which means a lot to me as I haven't seen them a huge amount since moving away. Don't get me wrong, there were many moments outside of my comfort zone as well as some ups and downs, but overall I'm a pretty happy bunny.

I'm not a fan of NY resolutions, mainly because I'm REALLY good at not sticking to them (who's with me?!) But if I had to pick any, they would be: to see more of the world, continue pushing myself outside of my comfort zone, get back on the fashion blogging and to be better at keeping in contact with people!

What resolutions have you made this year? Here's hoping for a good 2016 and for a year full of happiness, travel, laughter and good food. Definitely good food.

Happy New Year everyone!
